Gay

Hello, this is the first time i write a blog. Today i am going to write about the title "gay". Recently ， the Chinese press has shown some article about the interview with the homosexual. It makes me ponder a bit. Some questions popped up in my mind which are "why this kind of people exist?" , "why do they look exactly normal from their appearance but actually not ?" , "are there reasons for them to become like this ?" and " is homosexual natural or nurtured?" . Another factor which made me write this blog is because one of my friend admitted that he is gay. Gay, by the original definition, means "joyful", "carefree", "bright and showy". It was apparently not until the 20th century that the word began to be used to mean specifically "homosexual". According to the newspaper, homosexuals are of any race or religion. They usually do not have any feeling with women but they do have feeling for men. Scientists say they have shown how male homosexuality could be passed from generation to generation. Nature encourages mothers to pass on a "gay trait" to their male offspring by boosting their fertility, the Italian University of Padova team believes. It has also been noted that homosexual males are more often the younger siblings of a number of older brothers. Scientists have said it might be that the mother develops some kind of resistance to the male Y chromosome in her offspring that makes subsequent baby boys more likely to be born gay. Usually, the female relatives on the mother's side of the homosexual men tended to have more offspring than the female relatives on the father's side. Some homosexual thinks that being gay is not a choice. Personally , i think we should respect them because it is not like they can choose what they want to be, it is destined. Besides that, we should not boycott them because if we are so scared of getting a homosexual friend, then we should not make any friend with anyone anymore. So we should treat them like normal friends and do not despise them. So , please leave any comment on this post. Thanks.
